Cowboys Start NCAA Singles and Doubles Action

ORLANDO, Fla. - Oklahoma State men's tennis senior Matej Vocel and junior Emile Hudd learned their opponents for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships with the release of both brackets on Saturday.Â
Singles championship action will begin on May 23rd as Matej Vocel is set to square off with Texas A&M's Juan Carlos Aguilar at 1 p.m. (EST). No. 37-ranked Vocel collected a unanimous All-Big 12 singles team honor after completing the season with a 12-5 overall record and a 5-2 mark in conference play.Â
No. 30 Aguilar stands at 15-10 overall and 7-8 in conference play. The Aggie spent the majority of the season at the Nos. 2 and 3 spots.
Emile Hudd and Vocel start Doubles play on May 24 when they play No. 18Â David Stevenson and Oscar Cutting of Memphis.
Vocel and Hudd check in at No. 27 in the doubles rankings after posting a 7-4 record on the year. The duo's most notable win of the year came in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championship, where the pairing took down No. 13 Eliot Spizzirri and Siem Woldeab of Texas to clinch the doubles point.
