Cowboy Tennis Hits the Road for TCU and Texas

Stillwater, Okla. - The 18th-ranked Oklahoma State men's tennis team will hit the road this weekend in search of its first conference win of the season. The Cowboys will travel to the Lone Star State for matches against TCU and Texas.
The first matchup of the weekend comes in Fort Worth against the Horned Frogs on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
OSU holds a 7-8 mark on the year overall and is 0-2 in Big 12 play.Â
The seventh-ranked Horned Frogs enter the contest with a 12-5 record overall and a win in their only conference matchup of the season. TCU knocked off the No. 7 Longhorns, 4-3. The last time TCU and the Cowboys squared off was at the 2019 Big 12 Championship, which resulted in No. 32 OSU earning a 4-3 upset win over the seventh-ranked Horned Frogs. The victory pushed the Pokes into the semifinals.
TCU holds the overall advantage against the Cowboys, 11-8.
OSU has a quick turnaround as the squad will then head to Austin to take on the Longhorns, who sport a 15-4 record, on April 11 at 12 p.m.
OSU's last matchup against Texas came last month with Texas notching a 4-1 win in Stillwater on March 5. The Longhorns hold the upper hand in the overall series with a 30-4 mark all time against the Cowboys.Â
