Cowboy Tennis Set to Host Bedlam

Stillwater, Okla. - The 22nd-ranked Oklahoma State men's tennis team will close out its regular season on Sunday when it hosts in-state rival and No. 19 Oklahoma at 1 p.m.Â
The Cowboys enter the Bedlam matchup with a 7-10 mark on the year and an 0-4 record in Big 12 play.Â
The last time the foes squared off was March 12 in Norman with the Pokes pulling off a 4-2 win over the Sooners in Norman for their first victory in the series since 2009.Â
The Cowboys started early in doubles action. Henrik Korsgaard and Matej Vocel earned a 6-4 win over Nathan Han and Alex Martinez, while Emile Hudd and Dominik Kellovsky followed suit with a 6-3 win over Matt Rodriguez and Jake Van Emburgh. Vocel and Korsgaard also tallied wins in singles play and junior Emile Hudd sealed the deal, clinching the match with a three-set victory.Â
Oklahoma has a 10-12 mark on the year and is 1-5 on the road. OU holds a 1-3 record in conference play with their league win coming against Texas Tech in Norman, 6-1.Â
OSU holds an overall record of 43-34 against the Sooners.
