Cowboy Tennis to Host Ole Miss

Stillwater, Okla. - The 24th-ranked Oklahoma State men's tennis team will return to action on Sunday when it plays host to the 18th-ranked Ole Miss Rebels at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
OSU enters play with a 6-4 mark on the season and a 5-2 record at home on the year. Sunday's contest will mark the sixth this season for the Cowboys against a ranked opponent. Â
In their most recent outing, the Pokes were dealt their second home loss of the season in a down-to-the-wire matchup against No. 10 Texas A&M. The Cowboys came up just short in the March 16 tilt, with the Aggies squeaking out a 4-3 victory.
Notable wins from the match came in singles action courtesy of No. 101 Emile Hudd who defeated No. 116 Noah Schacter on court three 6-2, 6-2. The victory extended Hudd's singles record to 7-3 on the season.
Ole Miss most recently took the courts against No. 14 South Carolina in Oxford and ultimately lost, 5-2. The Rebels hold a 7-5 record overall and are 2-1 on the road this season.Â
The last time the two teams squared off was in 2020, with Ole Miss coming away with a 4-2 victory. Ole Miss leads the overall series by a 7-2 count.
