Cowboy Tennis Hits the Road For Bedlam Battle

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State's 25th-ranked men's tennis team will be back on the road this week when it travels to Norman to square off against the No. 26 Oklahoma Sooners on Friday at 5 p.m.
Tuesday night saw the Cowboys get back in the win column after riding a strong effort in singles play to a 4-1 victory over No. 29 Memphis. Senior Henrik Korsgaard proved to be a pivotal part of the team securing one of four points in singles play. He extended his singles record to 5-1 at home with his win against the Tigers, making his second appearance in the No. 2 spot. His only singles loss of the season at home was against Texas.
OSU will be looking for its first road win of the season against its in-state rivals. Â
Oklahoma's record is 7-6 on the year, including a 5-3 mark at home. OU's last matchup was in Norman was a 4-3 victory against UTSA.
The last Bedlam matchup came in 2019 in Norman, where the Sooners took the match, 6-1. However, OSU holds a 42-34 advantage overall in the series.
