Cowboy Tennis Falls to Pepperdine, 5-2

The Waves struck first, taking the doubles point. On court one, Matej Vocel and Emile Hudd fell to Pepperdine's Adrian Oetzback and Guy De Oden, 6-3. Henrik Korsgaard and Mathieu Scaglia fought hard, but couldn't answer Corrado Summaria and Robert Shelton, eventually suffering a 6-4 defeat. Dominik Kellovsky and Maxim Tybar's match on court three against Daniel De Jong and Pietro Fellin went unfinished and stood at 5-4 when it was halted.
Pepperdine took the first point in singles as Etienne Donnet fell to Robert Shelton, 6-2, 6-2. The Waves made it 3-0 as Matisse Bobichon fell shortly afterward to Pietro Fellin, 6-2, 6-2.

The first Cowboy to claim victory in singles play was Mathieu Scaglia, who defeated Corrado Summaria, 6-3, 6-4, to get OSU on the board.
However, Matej Vocel would come up short against Adrian Oetzbach, 7-5, 6-4, on court one to give the Waves the clinching point.
With the outcome decided, both teams played out the remaining matches. On court two, Dominik Kellovsky came up short against Guy De Oden, 6-2, 7-6.
Against Daniel De Jonge, Henrik Korsgaard claimed his first set, 6-3, before dropping the second in a tiebreaker, 6-7. In a back-and-forth battle, Korsgaard came out on top, winning the third set, 12-10.

OSU will return to Stillwater to host Nebraska-Omaha on Tuesday, March 2.
