Tyler Zink Finishes Play at ITA All-American Championships

Tulsa, Okla. - Oklahoma State men's tennis junior Tyler Zink closed out his run at the ITA All-American Championships today.Â
The junior started play on Wednesday as the No. 2 seed in the Main Draw and faced off with No. 1 Daniel Rodrigues of South Carolina. Throughout the course of a neck-and-neck battle, the match went the way of Rodrigues 6-3, 6-4.Â
On Thursday, Zink then squared off with Martin Prata of Tennessee in the consolation bracket, where Zink cruised to a two-set victory, 7-5, 7-5. A bye in the round of 32 automatically advanced the Cowboy to the round of 16.
Zink then took the court again to face Justin Barki of Princeton on Friday. Although evenly matched, Zink missed the mark falling short, 7-6(5), 6-2.
