STILLWATERÂ - The fourth-ranked Oklahoma State equestrian team defeated No. 6 TCU, 12-6, Saturday at the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center for its third consecutive win of the season, highlighted by an excellent performance in both disciplines to pull away for the victory.Â
Â
"We are so proud of how our team performed," OSU western coach Laura Brainard said. "TCU is always a great competitor, and we can never let our guard down when we ride against them. There is always room for improvement and ways to get sharper before our next competition. I have no doubt this team will rise to the occasion."Â
Â
The meet began with Fences and Horsemanship coinciding, where the Cowgirls took each event. In Fences, team captain Abigail Brayman picked up where she left off and defeated Wynne Weatherly, 87-74. Â
