The Basics
            The second-ranked Cowgirl equestrian team remains in Stillwater for the second consecutive weekend to take on No. 8 Texas A&M at Totusek Arena Saturday at 10 a.m. OSU is coming off the first win of the spring season in a dominating 14-5 victory over then No. 6 ranked TCU, a contest in which the Cowgirls swept each event and had riders earn MOP honors in all four events.

            The Cowgirls (7-3, 3-1 Big 12) are led by 21st-year head coach Larry Sanchez, first-year assistants Laura Brainard and Olivia Dorey and director of operations Kate Pollard. Caroline Becker is on the staff as a graduate assistant.Â

Make the Cowgirls' all-time record against the Aggies 13-17
Improve the Cowgirls' home record against the Aggies to 7-3
Make the Cowgirls 2-1 against SEC opponents this season
Secure the second consecutive win of the spring season, improving OSU's overall record to 8-3
OSU has lost four of the last five meetings to the Aggies, a win would put the Pokes back in the win column

Who to Watch For                                                                                          Â
Katie Schell: The returning junior is 7-3 on the year in Flat and received MOP honors in Flat against UT Martin and Baylor in the fall. Schell was the recipient of the NCEA and Big 12 Rider of the Month awards in Flat for the month of September in the fall season. Coming off a loss against TCU she looks to return to the win column and pick up her eighth win of the season.Â
Emma Verplank: A returning All-American in Horsemanship and team captain, she earned MOP honors against No. 1 Auburn earlier this season and is 8-1-1 on the year. Verplank was the recipient of the NCEA and Big 12 Rider of the Month awards in Horsemanship for the month of September. She ended the fall season with three consecutive wins in Horsemanship. She scored a 76 at SMU two weeks ago resulting in her first tie of the year. She came back against TCU last Saturday and won 72-71.5. She looks to build on that momentum against Texas A&M.Â
Hannah Mitchell: Team captain Hannah Mitchell is 6-3-1 this year with MOP performances against South Dakota State and Baylor in the fall. Mitchell was the recipient of the NCEA and Big 12 Rider of the Month awards in Reining for the month of September. She was narrowly defeated by half a point two weeks ago at SMU. A week later she bounced back and got a huge win ,74.5-67.5, earn MOP honors for the second time this season.Â
Team captain Abigail Brayman is 6-2-1 on the season in the Flat. She was selected as the Big 12's Flat Rider of the Month for October. She is 5-5 in Fences coming off a win against TCU. She picked up two wins last weekend in Flat and Fences.Â
Harley Huff is 8-2 in Horsemanship on the season. She earned a season-high 77 against Baylor earlier in the fall season and also secured MOP honors against Baylor and UC Davis. She has won five straight, including a victory last time out against TCU where she scored a 76.5 and received MOP honors for the third time this season. She looks for six straight against Texas A&M.Â
Hannah Janson picked up her second consecutive win last time out against TCU. She is 6-3-1 on the season in Flat looking for her third win in a row this weekend. Janson is 3-6-1 in Fences on the year but is coming off a big win against the Horned Frogs.Â
