Two Cowboys Continue Play In Louisiana

LAFAYETTE, La. – Oklahoma State's Luke Hammond and Emile Hudd continued play in Lafayette as a part of the John Breaux Cajun Classic tennis tournament on Saturday.
Hammond began play for the Cowboys in his second match of the Cajun Classic against LSU's Ruy Teixera. The Cowboy won the first set in a tiebreaker, 7-6(3). However, he would drop the second set and the match-deciding tiebreaker to Teixera and lose the match, 6-7(3), 6-2, 10-4.
Hudd would continue play in the main draw against Tim Sandkaulen of Ole Miss. After winning his match yesterday over USF's Pierre Luquet, Hudd would fall to Sandkaulen on Saturday, 7-6(5), 6-4.
Oklahoma State elected to withdraw from the first round of the doubles draw of the Cajun Classic. Both Hudd and Hammond will continue play on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. (CST). You can follow along all weekend long with @CowboyTennis.
