Vocel And Kellovsky Move Into Semifinals Of ITA Fall Nationals

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – The Oklahoma State duo of No. 18 Matej Vocel and Dominik Kellovsky are set to play in the semifinals of the ITA National Fall Championships in Newport Beach, Calif. after receiving a walkover on Friday.
No. 18 Vocel and Kellovsky were set to face off against No. 17 Yuya Ito and Christian Sigsgaard from Texas entering the quarterfinals of doubles play on Friday. However, the Cowboy duo received a walkover, which results in an automatic win for Matej Vocel and Dominik Kellovsky.
Luke Hammond and Emile Hudd also competed on Friday in the second round of consolation play. Hammond and Hudd defeated Blake Croyder and Philip Henning of Georgia on Thursday, 6-4, 7-5. The OSU pairing would end its tournament run in the second round of consolation play after falling to No. 56 Will Davies and Oliver Okonkow of Iowa, 6-1, 6-4 on Friday.
