FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Two members of the Oklahoma State men's tennis team, Dominik Kellovsky and Mathieu Scaglia, competed in the third round of the qualifying draw of the Arkansas Futures event on Tuesday.
Both Cowboys received a first-round bye in the qualifying draw and won their respective second-round matches on Monday. Scaglia lost his third-round match to Trent Bryde of Georgia in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. Kellovsky, however, picked up a win in his match over Wichita State's Murkel Dellien, 6-4, 6-4.
Kellovsky's win over Dellien qualifies him for the main draw of the tournament where he will face Murphy Cassone in the first round. Kellovsky is not the only Cowboy in the main draw of the tournament, as No. 19 Matej Vocel is set to play against Alexandre Reco in his first-round match.
