Matej Vocel Wins Second-Round Match In ITA All-American Championships In Singles And Doubles Play

TULSA, Okla. - Matej Vocel continued his winning ways in the second round of the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa on Thursday. Dominik Kellovsky also competed on Thursday but in the consolation bracket of the tournament.
No. 19 Matej Vocel defeated Tulane's No. 36 Ewan Moore in his second-round match. The Cowboy won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, propelling him into the round of 16. Kellovsky lost to No. 43 Richard Ciamarra of Notre Dame in his first match in the consolation bracket. Emile Hudd was slated to play against No. 70 Lukas Greif of Florida but withdrew from that match.
In doubles play, No. 18 Dominik Kellovsky and Matej Vocel competed in the second round of play. The Cowboy duo defeated No. 17 Yuya Ito and Christian Sigsgaard out of Texas, 6-1, 6-4.
Matej Vocel's match in the round of 16 will take place at 12:00 p.m. (CST) against No. 10 Sam Riffice of Florida. Kellovsky and Vocel will play No. 13 Richard Ciamarra and Tristan McCormick of Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. (CST). Both matches will be played in Tulsa on Friday.
