Cowgirls Open Season in College Station

Meet Notes
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Equestrian team opens its season Friday against Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.
Last time these two teams met, the Cowgirls took a 10-8 victory in Stillwater during the 2017-18 season. Friday's meet will be the first of the season for both teams.
"The first meet is going to tell us a lot," OSU head coach Larry Sanchez said. "We're going to take care of one competition at a time and hopefully come away with a lot of victories this year."
Sanchez is coming off back-to-back Big 12 Coach of the Year honors as he enters his 20th season as the Cowgirls' head coach.
The defending Big 12 Champions are ranked No. 4 in the NCEA Coaches Poll.
An Oklahoma State win would give the Cowgirls their fifth-straight win in seasons openers.
"We've got a lot of talent right now, and we're very excited to get things going," Sanchez said.
