Cowgirl Equestrian Falls to Georgia in NCEA Championship Quarterfinal

OCALA, Fla. – Oklahoma State's sixth-seeded equestrian team saw its season come to a close with a 14-5 loss to third-seeded Georgia in the quarterfinals of the NCEA National Championship on Thursday afternoon at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.
The loss ends the Cowgirls' 2025-26 campaign with an 8-4 record.
Competition opened with Fences and Reining, where Oklahoma State fell into an early 6-3 deficit.
Blake Rowan accounted for Oklahoma State's lone point in Fences, earning stellar 89.3-62.3 victory in her Ocala debut. Rowan closed her first postseason with a 3-0 record and an average score of 87.3. The Cowgirls turned in competitive rides across the event but were unable to secure additional points. Fellow freshman Lauren Gee posted an 85.3, Bella Holway rode to an 83.3 tie, Ellie DuPuis scored an 81.7 and Sophia Tabasso added a 79 in her first ride of the day.
In Reining, Georgia edged Oklahoma State, 3-2. All-American Ava Bush recorded her 10th win of the season, while freshman Ayden Welman improved to 7-4-1 with her victory. The Cowgirls again delivered solid performances in the event. Emma Filiatreau moved to 9-2-1 after a tight 72.2-71.5 loss to Georgia's Raegan Shepherd, while Tristan Bagby and Katie Ramsey posted scores of 71 and 70, respectively.
Cadence Kueker secured Oklahoma State's lone point in Flat in her final collegiate ride, posting an 82.3. Sophia Tabasso recorded the top score of any Cowgirl in the event with an 87.7, highlighted by a judge's mark of 97, but fell to Maggie Bresch's 89. Mackenzie Carreras also delivered a strong performance in her final ride, scoring an 85.3.
Over in Horsemanship, Bella D'Onofrio extended her winning streak to nine during her All-American campaign, earning a 74.7-73.2 victory. Two-time All-American June Roberson dropped her final collegiate ride, 73.2-71.2, while Jalyn McElmurray was narrowly beaten, 75.8-75.3.
