August 22, 2018 | Cowboy Basketball
STILLWATER – Mike Boynton and the Oklahoma State men's basketball team will host Ouachita Baptist in an exhibition game on Sunday, Nov. 4 in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Tickets will start at just $5 at okstate.com/tickets or by calling 877-ALL-4-OSU. Cowboy basketball season tickets are also on sale now for just $150 through the OSU Ticket Office.
This will be the first ever hardwood meeting between OSU and Ouachita Baptist, which is located Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The Tigers are led by eighth-year head coach Dennis Nutt, who has a pair of Great American Conference championships under his belt.
OSU is 57-4 in exhibition games since 1973, including 30 straight wins dating back to 2000. Last year, the Cowboys took down Arkansas-Monticello, 85-65, in Boynton's first action as OSU's head coach.
The Cowboys would go on to post a 21-15 record that included six wins over top-25 opponents and a school-record four victories over top-10 squads. OSU became the first team since 2003 to earn a regular-season sweep over Kansas, and had four victories over teams in the 2018 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight.
Tipoff and TV information for this exhibition and OSU's non-conference games will be announced at a later date. The Big 12 office is also expected to release the league's conference schedule in the coming weeks.
The Cowboys will open the 2018-19 season at Charlotte on Nov. 10 but will return to GIA to host the home opener against UTSA on Nov. 14.
