Oklahoma State Game Notes
The Basics
Powerful performances from Cameron McGriff and Kendall Smith helped Oklahoma State (14-9, 4-6 Big 12) take down No. 7 Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse, which made OSU one of just two programs to win on KU's campus twice during the Bill Self era. The Cowboys will now quickly turn their attention to Baylor (13-10, 3-7 Big 12), which is coming off a convincing 81-67 home win over Iowa State on Saturday. Tuesday's game will be a rematch of OSU's 76-60 loss to Baylor in Waco back on Jan. 15. The Bears have won the last five meetings in the series and the last two in GIA.
On the Air
The matchup between the Cowboys and Bears will air Tuesday on ESPNU at 7 p.m. Central. Mark Neely and Dino Gaudio will handle the on-air duties. ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app will carry the webcast. As always, Dave Hunziker and John Holcomb will have the Cowboy Radio Network call.
About Saturday's Win In Lawrence
• Oklahoma State got 24 points from Kendall Smith and a career-high 20 points from Cameron McGriff to take down No. 7 Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday.
•OSU joins Iowa State as the only programs to win twice in Lawrence during the Bill Self era (230-13 in AFH), but no program has beaten Kansas more over the last 10 years than Oklahoma State - seven wins since 2008.
• OSU head coach Mike Boynton became just the fifth first-year head coach to win in Allen Fieldhouse and the first since Bill Frieder's Michigan squad won in Lawrence on Dec. 3, 1980.
• The Cowboys posted a 20-9 edge in points off turnovers and a 26-7 advantage in second-chance points. The victory is OSU's third this season over a top-25 opponent and the second against a top-10 squad.
• Kendall Smith scored OSU's final six points and took home Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors. For the week, the graduate transfer averaged a team-best 18.5 points on 60 percent shooting.
Cowboy Quick Hitters
• Mitchell Solomon grabbed his 268th career offensive rebound at Kansas, which moved him into fourth place in school history in the category. The senior passed Desmond Mason (1996-00) for fourth place.
• Jeffrey Carroll joins K-State's Dean Wade as the only Big 12 players averaging at least 17 points and 5.9 boards in league play.
• Yankuba Sima has 15 blocked shots over the last six games and now ranks eighth with 1.6 blocks per Big 12 game.
Cam's The Man
The switch has come on for OSU sophomore Cameron McGriff, who has arguably been the highest-performing Cowboy in each of the last three outings. McGriff was a bucket shy of a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds at Arkansas and followed it up with a stat-stuffing 11 points, six boards, and a career-high four blocks and four steals against TCU. At Kansas, McGriff posted a career-high 20 points, nine rebounds, two blocks and three steals. Last week, he averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks. What's more, McGriff is 47-of-54 (.870) from the free throw line, which is the highest mark of any Cowboy with more than 11 attempts.

Prior to this season, a grand total of 11 points decided the previous three games between Oklahoma State and Baylor. Despite Baylor's top-10 ranking, both meetings last season were decided in the final minute.
Last Year In GIA
Baylor led by 13 points with 4:13 to play, but Oklahoma State used a 12-0 run make it a one-point ballgame with 1:01 to play. OSU had an opportunity to take the lead in the final minute but Baylor's Jo Lual-Acuil blocked a Jawun Evans layup attempt. After Baylor's Manu Lecomte made two free throws with 14.7 seconds to play, Evans and Forte missed 3-point attempts that could have tied the game for OSU. Baylor held on to win, 72-69, for their second straight victory in GIA.
Leading The Bears
In his 15th season at Baylor, Scott Drew is nearing his 500th game in charge of the Bears. Under Drew, Baylor is one of nine teams to be nationally ranked in each of the last 11 seasons, and it is one of 13 teams to make four or more Sweet 16 appearances since 2010. Drew owns a 310-201 overall record as a head coach and is 15-15 all-time against OSU.
Carroll's Success Against The Bears
Jeffrey Carroll has found success against the Baylor defense in his career, especially last season. In 2016-17, Carroll posted 14 and 20 point games on 57.9 percent shooting, including 2-of-4 shooting from 3-point. For his career, the redshirt senior is averaging 10.2 points against the Bears.
