Draheim and Hudd Reach Dickie V Clay Court Classic Quarterfinals

SARASOTA, Fla. – The Oklahoma State doubles pair of Brady Draheim and Emile Hudd defeated McClain Kessler and Harrison Cacciatore of Florida, 6-4, Friday in the first round of the Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic.

Draheim and Hudd will play in the doubles quarterfinal round against Notre Dame's William Howells and Axel Nefve Saturday at 7:30 a.m., at the Lakewood Ranch Fitness Center.

The quarterfinal match was supposed to take place Friday afternoon but got postponed until Saturday due to rain.

In singles play, Draheim defeated Enzo Le Seguillon of Florida State, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 10-8 to move on to the round of 16. In the round of 16, Draheim retired in his match against Noe Khlif (Illinois).

Hudd lost his first round match against Michigan's Kristofer Siimar, 6-4, 6-4. In the first round of consolation play, Hudd beat Greg Durham of Navy, 9-7, in an eight-game pro set.

Hudd will face David Mizrahi of Louisville in the quarterfinal round of the consolation bracket Saturday.
