About The Cowgirls
The Cowgirls (1-3, 1-0 Big 12) are led by 20th-year head coach Larry Sanchez, fourth-year assistant coach Jenna Blumer, fourth-year assistant coach Sammy Elser and second-year director of operations Kate Chesley. Carly Barrick also joined the staff as a first-year graduate assistant.

Who To Watch For
• Harley Huff was last year's Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the year. Huff also earned a team high eight MOP honors in 2017-18.
• Sophomores Abigail Brayman and Stephanie Helsen were named NCEA All-American Honorable Mentions.
• Brayman posted a 21-8 record with a 10-3 record in Equitation on the Flat and an 11-5 record in Equitation over Fences. She also earned five MOP honors with four coming in Fences and one in Flat.
• Helsen posted an 8-5 record with one MOP honor against South Carolina. She won the Big 12 Rider of the Month honor in October.
• Hannah Mitchell returns to the Reining arena after going 12-4 and making the All-Big 12 team for Reining. Mitchell was also a NCEA Second Team All-American.
• Hannah Janson is back after going 18-15 (8-8 in Flat, 10-7 in Fences) as a sophomore. She was given an honorable mention NCEA All-American selection as a freshman. Last season she was the November Big 12 Rider of the Month.
• Sydnie Ziegler impressed at her first collegiate equestrian competition. The freshman earned two points, one in fences and the other in flat, at Texas A&M. She earned her first MOP honors with a score of 85 in Fences against No. 3 Baylor.

Riders of the Month
Abigail Brayman and Hannah Mitchell earned Rider of the Month honors from the NCEA for October. Brayman won the EquiFit Equitation Over Fences Rider of the Month award after going 3-0 and setting a new career high with a score of 90 at Auburn. Brayman's 90 took home Fences MOP honors against the top-ranked Tigers on the road. Mitchell collected Shorty's Reining Rider of the Month award. Mitchell also went undefeated in the month of October, going 3-0.
