Quick Turnaround Sends Cowgirl Golf To Landfall Tradition

STILLWATER - Having just returned from the Stanford Intercollegiate, the Oklahoma State women's golf team will have a quick turnaround to play in the Landfall Tradition Tournament in Wilmington, North Carolina at the Country Club of Landfall.
The course reportedly sustained some damage due to Hurricane Florence, but it should not interfere with this week's competition.
Six of the 18 teams in the field are top-25 ranked teams, which is one of the easier fields the Cowgirls have faced this season.
Last year at the Landfall Tradition, the Cowgirls placed 5th out of 18 teams and we had one Cowgirl place individually in the top 10.
The Cowgirls that will be teeing off in this tournament are senior Chih-Min Chen, junior Michelle Forsland, sophomore Stephanie Astrup and Emma Whitaker, and freshman Faith Hopkins.
The Cowgirls are set to tee off at 8:30 a.m. this Friday.
