Marta Silchenko named to ANNIKA Watch List

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Oklahoma State women's golf standout Marta Silchenko has been named to the preseason watch list for the 2026-27 ANNIKA Award it was announced today by the Haskins Foundation.
Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award is given annually to the top female Division I collegiate golfer as voted on by players coaches and members of the college golf media.
A senior from Riga, Latvia, Silchenko is coming off a campaign in which she earned second-team All-America status from both the WGCA and Golfweek. She finished the year ranked 16th nationally. Additionally, she was selected to represent the International side at the Arnold Palmer Cup.
A first-team All-Big 12 selection, she was named the Big 12 Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year as well.
Silchenko notched victories at the Huntington Bank Collegiate as well as the Chapel Hill Regional before ultimately ending the year with a run of seven consecutive top-10 finishes.
For the year, she finished with a team-best stroke average of 70.96 while tallying 13 rounds in the 60s.
