Oklahoma State Game Notes
The Basics
Oklahoma State (11-4, 1-2 Big 12) scored a key overtime win over Iowa State to notch its first Big 12 victory of the season. OSU's high-pressure defense forced 15 Iowa State turnovers and held the Cyclones to 40.6 percent from the floor, including 1-of-7 shooting in OT. The Cowboy defense now faces another tall test in Kansas State (11-4, 1-2 Big 12), which enters Wednesday's matchup in Manhattan with the exact same record as the Cowboys. OSU and K-State have split the regular-season series for the last five seasons.
On the Air
The matchup between the Cowboys and Wildcats will air Wednesday on ESPNews at 7 p.m. Central. The play-by-play team of Lowell Galindo and Lance Blanks will handle the on-air duties. ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app will carry the webcast. As always, Dave Hunziker and John Holcomb will have the Cowboy Radio Network call.

Taking Care Of Business

Elite Schedule

Of those five ranked opponents, four are currently ranked No. 11 or better in the AP poll. The Cowboys are currently slated to play nine more games against teams in the latest AP Top-25, and four additional games against teams receiving votes.
The Series With Kansas State

That win snapped a five-game losing streak in Bramlage Coliseum that dated back to Jan. 23, 2010. The Cowboys and Wildcats split the two meetings last season, with the road team winning each time. K-State holds a 39-16 edge in Manhattan.
Always A Ballgame When These Two Meet
These two programs have split the regular season series in each of the last five seasons, including last year when the road team won each matchup. A grand total of eight points scored separate the two teams over those 10 games (OSU: 704, K-State 696).
