Cowgirls Earn Second Place In Hawaii

KANE'OHE, Hawaii—The Oklahoma State women's golf team posted the second best round of the day, a 1-over 289, which helped them jump Washington State and finish second at 10-over 874 in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational.
Cowgirl Linnea Johansson tied for seventh place with a 2-under 214 for the week. The senior carded 11 birdies in the three rounds of play.
Kenzie Neisen sprung up the leaderboard 13 places after a 2-under 70 third round. Neisen and Emma Broze are both tied for 16th place with a 2-over 218.
Texas A&M placed first with a 5-under 859 finish, while Aggie Maddie Szeryk placed first in individual play with a 9-under 207. OSU had won the even in each of the last two seasons.
Chih-Min Chen went 8-over 224 to tie her for 36th place, while McCandren Mack finished in a tie for 43rd at 10-over 226.
Alexis Sadeghy and Isabella Deilert both tied for 50th at 12-over 228.
The Cowgirls will be in Baton Rouge on March 24th to compete in the LSU Tiger Golf Classic.
