Windy City Awaits Cowgirl Golf

CHICAGO – The No. 11 Oklahoma State women's golf team is headed to the Windy City Collegiate Classic to take on seven other top 25 squads at the Glen View Club.

This will be the sixth straight year OSU has played at the Windy City Collegiate. The Cowgirls won the event in their first appearance in 2011. That year, Cowgirl Kelsey Vines tied for first with a 214.

Linnea Johansson is the anchor to OSU's deep lineup. The senior is currently ranked the No. 19 player in the country according to Golfstat.com, and leads the Cowgirls with 31 birdies on the season. Johansson has played five of her six rounds this year at or under par.

Two-time Big 12 individual champ Kenzie Neisen is coming off a final round 69 at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, which is a season-best for the junior.

Alexis Sadeghy, Isabella Deilert and Chih-Min Chen round out this week's lineup.
