The No. 15 Oklahoma State men's tennis squad will host Georgia State on Friday at the Greenwood Tennis Center. The match will begin at 5 p.m. CT as the Cowboys look to extend their winning streak to five.

In the ITA Rankings
The Cowboys jumped two spots to No. 15 in the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings after a dominant showing the past two weeks. The top-15 spot in the polls marks the highest ranking by a Cowboy Tennis squad since 2006 when Oklahoma State reached as high as No. 11 in the ITA rankings.
Three Pokes remain in the singles rankings with All-American Julian Cash rising nine spots and receiving the highest ranking at No. 59. Cash's jump to No. 59 is the highest singles ranking for a Cowboy since last season when Jakob Sude leaped 48 spots to No. 39. Juniors Arjun Kadhe and Jurence Mendoza hold spots in the singles rankings at No. 111 and No. 93. Georgia State does not have any singles players ranked at this time.
In the latest doubles rankings, a couple of Cowboy duos represent OSU, highlighted by All-American duo Kadhe/Cash at No. 5. The top-5 ranking in doubles makes Kadhe/Cash the third highest ranked doubles tandem in Cowboy Tennis history.
After a hot start to the spring, Pokes Lucas Gerch/Temur Ismailov appear in the doubles rankings for the first time at No. 48. The Panthers have no doubles teams ranked.
Cowboys Taking Care of Business on the Road
With another road victory against No. 64 Arkansas, the Cowboys have now won three of their first four matches away from home. The 3-1 record thus far ties the best road start to a season in the Udwadia-era since 2014 when the Pokes started 4-1 on the road before entering conference play.
In the 2014 season, Oklahoma State finished the year with a 5-3 record on the road with wins at No. 55 TCU and No. 36 Alabama. This year's Cowboy Tennis squad will look to surpass that record as they still have five road matches remaining this season.
Coach Udwadia Records 200th Career Victory
Oklahoma State's victory against No. 32 Harvard was a special one for Cowboy head coach Jay Udwadia as he collected his 200th career win. Udwadia becomes only the second coach in Cowboy history to record his 200th win with OSU, the only other coach was Cowboy legend James Wadley.
Entering OSU, Udwadia had 145 career wins with stops at Drake and Fresno State where he turned both programs into yearly conference title contenders. At Fresno State, Udwadia reached the conference finals six of his eight years and won the title in 2011 and 2012.
The New York-native is also only the second coach in Cowboy Tennis history to collect more than 50 wins in his first three seasons, as he won 51 games before entering this season.
After back-to-back NCAA Second Round appearances, the future looks bright for coach Udwadia and the Oklahoma State men's tennis program.
Cowboys vs. Opponents
This will only be the second meeting between Oklahoma State and Georgia State, as the two teams met for the first time two years ago in Atlanta.
The match was played at the Atlanta Athletic Club, where the Cowboys made a little bit of history in their 4-1 defeat of the Panthers. The victory put OSU at 8-0, which is the best start to a season in Cowboy Tennis history.
Finzelberg, Cash Earn Big 12 Player of the Week Honors
Oklahoma State's Lukas Finzelberg and Julian Cash earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks for the Cowboys, which marks the first time in Cowboy Tennis history that two OSU players have won the weekly honor in consecutive weeks.
With Cash being the first one to receive the honor this year, he was the first Cowboy to be named Big 12 Player of the Week since 2010.
Cowboys Stepping Up to the Challenge
Since playing unranked UNLV and Creighton, the Cowboys have defeated six of the seven ranked opponents they have faced, including No. 11 Wake Forest, No. 22 Minnesota and No. 36 NC State.
The six victories haven't even been close either, as Oklahoma State outscored their opponents 33-9. All-Americans Arjun Kadhe and Julian Cash have helped lead the Cowboys to their hot start with four combined victories over ranked singles opponents and two doubles wins over ranked duos.
Poke Lukas Finzeberg has also been a big part of the success so far, as he sits at 6-0 this spring and has clinched three matches (Wake Forest, Minnesota and Arkansas) already this season.
Look for coach Udwadia and the Cowboys to continue their success against ranked-opponents.
Former Cowboy Becomes Assistant Coach
Three-time All-American Jakob Sude was named an Undergraduate Student Assistant Coach by coach Jay Udwadia this season. After finishing his final year of eligibility last season, Sude looks to use the experience he gained while playing tennis at OSU to coach his former teammates.
As a Cowboy, the All-American was the consistent No. 1 for the Pokes, as he helped lead the Pokes to 39 victories over the past two seasons. In 2015, he won 14 singles matches, including a victory against the No. 1 player in the ITA Rankings, Soren Hess-Olsen, of Texas, 6-4, 6-2. Sude was also the first Cowboy since 2010 to earn All-American status in singles play, as the Cowboy made it all the way to the Round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championships.
Big 12 Strongest in the Nation
The Big 12 conference features some of the most talented players in the nation, with all six teams in the conference being ranked in the ITA top-25. TCU is the highest ranked team at No. 3, Oklahoma and Texas Tech follow them at No. 8 and 10. Baylor sits at No. 13 with the Pokes at No. 15 and the Longhorns aren't too far behind at No. 24.
The only other conference with at least five teams in the ITA top-25 is the ACC. The SEC and Pac-12 feature four teams.
Kadhe & Cash Become Big Part of Cowboy Tennis History
Oklahoma State's Julian Cash and Arjun Kadhe were named the No. 5-ranked doubles team in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association last Wednesday.
The top-5 rankings cements a spot in Cowboy Tennis history for the duo as they become the third highest ranked duo ever at OSU. Kadhe was also a part of the highest ranked duo in Cowboy Tennis history with partner and three-time All-American Jakob Sude who received the No. 3 rankings in September 2014.
With the chemistry between the two All-Americans growing each day, the sky is the limit for Kadhe/Cash.
Kadhe Seeks Third-Straight All-American Season
Last season, Kadhe and his former doubles partner Jakob Sude were the first Cowboy doubles team in Oklahoma State history to earn back-to-back All-American honors.
Kadhe looks to become only the third Cowboy in Oklahoma State history to earn three All-American honors. The two Cowboys to have three All-American honors are Oleksandr Nedovyesov (2008-2010) and Sude (2014-15).
He will have a good chance at completing the task, as Kadhe and his new doubles partner Julian Cash have already developed a great connection on the court together by winning the back draw at the ITA All-American Championship and finishing runner-up in the doubles main draw at the ITA Central Regional during the fall season.
Cowboys Home Court Advantage
Since being opened in 2014, the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center has been a tremendous home court advantage for Oklahoma State men's tennis.
In the past two seasons, the Cowboys have won 21 of their 27 home matches, including five wins over teams ranked in the ITA top-60 in 2015.
The Pokes will look to continue their home success this season as they host 13 matches this season, with eight of them coming against teams ranked in the top-50.
