Game Slowing Down For Second Year Post Solomon

STILLWATER – No matter how you slice it, Mitchell Solomon had a pretty nice freshman campaign. He made some memorable plays, learned a ton and helped the Cowboys on both ends of the floor with solid paint play.

Still, no one on the Oklahoma State roster made more strides over the summer than the 6-foot 9-inch Solomon, who attributes it all to newfound confidence.

"With having the experience of my freshman year, along with the summer I've had, my confidence is definitely growing both on and off the court," Solomon said. "I'm really looking forward to this year."

Solomon ranked third amongst Cowboy regulars with a 46.7 percent shooting mark last season, and has expanded his game this summer to include a mid-range jumper. He's also worked on his low-post moves on both ends of the court.
