STILLWATER – The 2015-16 Oklahoma State women's golf schedule will see the Cowgirls travel to eight different states, and mix in a pair of local events.
OSU kicks off the fall campaign at the Dick McGuire Invite in Albuquerque, N.M. on Sept. 14-15. They will also travel to Chicago (Windy City Intercollegiate on Oct. 5-6) and Wilmington, N.C. (Landfall Tradition on Oct. 23-25) during the fall portion of the schedule.
The Cowgirls will compete in a pair of local courses, starting with the Schooner Fall Classic at Norman's Belmar Country Club on Sept. 19-21. OSU will also host this year's Bedlam Cup at Karsten Creek Golf Club in April, but the exact date has yet to be determined.
The Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., on Feb. 7-9 gets things started in the spring for the Cowgirls, and will be the first of two February trips to California. OSU returns to the Golden State two weeks later for the Bruin Wave Invite in San Luis Obispo.
New Orleans will host the Cowgirls for the annual All-State Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate from Feb. 21-23 before they travel to Hilton Head, S.C. for the Darius Rucker Invitational at Long Cove Golf Club on March 4-6.
A trip to Honolulu for the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invite is slated for March 22-23, and the Cowgirls will round out the regular season on April 1-2 in Dallas at the SMU/DAC Invitational.
The Cowgirls already own eight Big 12 Conference championships – the last in 2013 – and will be gunning for another at Dominion Country Club in San Antonio on April 22-24. Sophomore Kenzie Neisen was the individual champion of the event as a freshman last season.
