Cowgirl Golf Signs One

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team has signed Chih-Min Chen to a National Letter of Intent it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Courtney Jones.
Chen currently carries a World Amateur Golf Ranking of 118 and will join the OSU program for the 2015-16 campaign.
"We are thrilled to have Chih-Min join us next fall. She has competed all over the world and will strengthen our depth. She has an impressive resumé not only on the golf course, but also in the classroom," Jones said.
The New Taipei City, Taiwan native won the 2014 Taiwan Amateur with a 295 total. Chen tied for seventh earlier this year at the TLPGA & Royal Open, one of two occasions in which she was the top amateur in LPGA of Taiwan events.Chen had three top-10 finishes at AJGA Invitationals a year ago. She tied for seventh at the Yani Tseng Invitational after carding three consecutive 72s and tied for eighth at the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions with a 298 tally. Additionally, she tied for fourth place at the ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior with a 218 total.
