Maddie McCrary Competes At LPGA Texas Stop

IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State freshman Maddie McCrary competed this week at the LPGA's Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout at Las Colinas Country Club.
McCary, who qualified with a 68 during the event's Monday qualifier, was one of six Cowgirls in action at the tournament.
The Wylie, Texas native posted a 36-hole total of 151, which included rounds of 75 and 76.
During her first round, McCary posted three birdies, including a pair on her back nine for an even-par 35, en route to her 4-over score. Her second round featured a birdie at the seventh and an outward nine of 1-over 37 before eventually carding a 5-over tally.McCrary and her Cowgirl teammates will be back in action on May 7 when they begin NCAA Regional play in South Bend, Ind.
