Cowgirls Receive NCAA Regional Bid

INDIANAPOLIS - Oklahoma State's women's golf team will participate in the South Bend Regional it was announced today by the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee.
The Cowgirls will be the No. 3 seed in the 18-team field and will compete at Warren Golf Course. The regional is one of four which will be conducted May 7-9 with six teams and three individuals advancing from each site.
OSU, which is currently ranked 11th nationally, will be competing in regional action for the 23rd consecutive season. Joining the Cowgirls in South Bend will be top-seeded Arizona and No. 2 seed Duke. Wake Forest will be the No. 4 seed, while UC Davis rounds out the top five.The national championship will be conducted May 22-27 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla. The final three days of the event will be televised live by the Golf Channel.
