May 28, 2015 | Cowboy Basketball
STILLWATER --Â The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship will remain at the Sprint Center in Kansas City through 2020, the league announced Thursday.
The agreement to continue in Kansas City will extend it to 11 consecutive years that Sprint Center has hosted the men's basketball championship. It has been a sellout in each of the past two seasons and has averaged crowds of more than 18,000 every time it has been held at Sprint Center, including the third-largest session attendance average in Big 12 history in 2014.
This year's tournament is slated for March 9-12 at the Sprint Center.
Oklahoma State won back-to-back Big 12 Tournament titles in 2004 (Kansas City) and 2005 (Dallas).
