Cowgirls Advance at SDSU Farms Invite

RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted a 4-1 victory over UC Irvine on Monday during the opening round at the SDSU Farms Invitational at The Farms Golf Club to advance to the championship bracket.
The Cowgirls' biggest victory of the day came courtesy of freshman Maddie McCrary, who cruised to an 8-and-6 win over Kristin Henno.
Classmate Kenzie Neisen earned a team point for OSU as well, notching a 2-and-1 win over Camille Wagg.
Sophomore Isabella Deilert defeated Breanne Jones, 4 and 2, while sophomore Linnea Johansson provided the Cowgirls' fourth point with a 4-and-3 victory over Samantha Chan.
UC Irvine got on the board with a 4-and-2 win from Kaley In over freshman Emma Broze.
OSU, which is the event's top seed, will take on Colorado tomorrow at 7:15 a.m. (PST) at the par-72, 6,237-yard layout.
