March 22, 2015 | Cowgirl Golf
RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team will be back in action this week for the first time since its victory in Hawaii when it takes part in the SDSU Farms Invitational at The Farms Golf Club.
Earlier this month, the Cowgirls cruised to an eight-shot victory at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Hawaii. Individually, the OSU trio of sophomore Linnea Johansson and freshmen Kenzie Neisen and Emma Broze all shared runner-up honors.
This week's event will feature 72 holes of match play and will be contested Monday through Wednesday at the par-72, 6,237-yard layout.
The Cowgirls will be the top seed in the 16-team field and will face UC Irvine. Tee times are set to begin at 7:45 a.m. (PST). The winner will move on to face the Houston-Colorado winner.
OSU's lineup will consist of Johansson, Neisen and Broze as well as sophomore Isabella Deilert and freshman Maddie McCrary.
Live scoring for the event will be available at birdiefire.com.
