Two Point Guard Lineup Invented Out Of Necessity
December 01, 2015 | Cowboy Basketball
STILLWATER – They say necessity is the mother of invention, so the recent pileup of injuries has turned Cowboy head coach Travis Ford into the basketball version of Thomas Edison.
With two starters and a prominent bench player in street clothes for the last few weeks, Ford and his staff turned to an unusual lineup that features two point guards – Jawun Evans and Tyree Griffin – on the court at the same time.
Hear from Ford and Griffin about their thoughts on the new lineup, which has helped Oklahoma State jump to 53rd in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio.
