STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will begin the 2014 fall season when it travels to Napa, Calif., for the Napa Valley Invitational on Sept. 12-14 at the Silverado Resort.
In a team-rotation tournament style, the players will rotate between singles and doubles play each day of the tournament.
Sophomores Lucas Gerch and Nathan Roper will represent the Cowboys at the tourney, competing against several other programs, including Hawai'i and Pepperdine. The two Pokes are making their second-consecutive appearance at the event. Each went 1-2 in singles at last year's tournament.
After a second-round appearance at the NCAA Championship in 2014, the Cowboys finished the season ranked No. 25 in the nation, their highest finish since 2009.
