A Quick 9 With ... McKenzie Neisen

A native of New Prague, Minn., McKenzie Neisen comes to Stillwater following a heavily decorated career for New Prague High School. In addition to winning the Class 3A state tournament the past two seasons, she was the event's runner-up in 2012 and 2010 ... as an eighth grader. This past summer saw her claim the title at the Minnesota Women's State Match Play Championship.
A six-time all-conference and all-state selection, Neisen was also chosen as the conference player of the year on two occasions.
Described as "a powerful athlete with a confident competitive spirit" by OSU head coach Courtney Jones, Neisen has had success at the national level as well, reaching match play at the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship, the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship.
