Cowgirls In Eighth At Big 12 Championship

AUSTIN, Texas - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted a 308 total during its second round at the Big 12 Championship on Saturday to stand in eighth place at the University of Texas Golf Club.
The Cowgirls' 20-over day gave them a 606 total through 36 holes at the par-72, 6,370-yard layout. OSU will begin tomorrow's final round two shots behind Kansas State. Oklahoma carded a 292 to stand at 583 and build a three-stroke lead over Texas.
Texas' Natalie Karcher moved into the top position in the individual race after carding a 69, which gave her a 4-under 140 total.
Senior Amy Ruengmateekhun came in tied for sixth place after carding a 75 to stand at 145 and lead the Cowgirl starting lineup.
Sophomore Julie Yang's 74 moved her into a tie for 13th place at 149.
Senior Lauren Falley signed for an 80 to finish at 152 and tied for 26th place, while freshman Isabella Deilert's 79 tied her for 39th place at 160.
The Cowgirls will begin their final round tomorrow at 8:10 a.m. and will be grouped with Kansas State and TCU.
