Cowgirls In 11th In San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted a 307 during its first round on Monday at the SDSU Farms Invitational to finish the day in 11th place at The Farms Golf Club.
The Cowgirls' 19-over total put them a shot out of 10th place, which was held by New Mexico, at the par-72, 6,237-yard layout. UCLA was the lone school to break par on the day, posting a 3-under 285 to hold a five-shot lead over Stanford.
UCLA's Alison Lee carded a 68 to take the individual lead.
Senior Jayde Panos led the OSU starting five with a 73 to finish the day tied for 11th place.
Senior Lauren Falley posted a 74 to come in tied for 20th.
Freshman Isabella Deilert and senior Amy Ruengmateekhun each carded 80s to stand in a tie for 64th place, while sophomore Julie Yang posted an 82 to tie for 72nd place.
The Cowgirls will begin their second round tomorrow at 8 a.m. (PST) and will be grouped with New Mexico and Oregon.
