Cowgirls Resume Action In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team will return to action this week when it begins play at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate at English Turn Golf and Country Club.
The Cowgirls opened their spring slate earlier this month in California with a 12th-place showing at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.
OSU and the rest of the 17-team field will begin play at the 54-hole event at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The tournament will run through Tuesday with 18 holes being played each day at the par-72, 6,140-yard layout. The Cowgirls finished 10th at the event last season with senior Kelsey Vines posting a runner-up finish.
This year's starting five will consist of sophomore Julie Yang, freshman Isabella Deilert and seniors Lauren Falley, Amy Ruengmateekhun and Jayde Panos.
