Cowgirls Open Season At Dale McNamara Fall Preview

TULSA, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team will get its fall slate underway on Monday when it begins play at the Dale McNamara Fall Preview at Tulsa Country Club.
The Cowgirls, who are entering their first season under the direction of head coach Courtney Jones, will be one of 15 teams in the field at the par-70, 6,136-yard layout. The event will consist of 54 holes with 18 holes being played each day Monday through Wednesday. OSU won the event two years ago at The Patriot Golf Club and finished third in 2012 at the Golf Club of Oklahoma.
The Cowgirls enter the year carrying a No. 7 preseason ranking from Golfweek and are slotted at No. 14 in the Golf World/Nike Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Sophomore Julie Yang returns off a solid rookie campaign that saw her earn honorable mention All-America status. Joining Yang in the lineup will be a pair of seniors in Jayde Panos and Lauren Falley.
The event will mark the collegiate debuts for a pair of freshmen in Livermore, Calif., native Casie Cathrea and Isabella Deilert, a native of Stockholm, Sweden.
