Cowgirls Wrap Up Fall Slate At Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule on Sunday with a round of 299 to finish in eighth place at the Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Landfall.
The Cowgirls' 11-over round was their lowest of the event and gave them a 49-over total of 913 at the par-72, 6,244-yard layout. Michigan State and Arizona shared sixth place at 910. Wire-to-wire leader Alabama posted an 867 to win the event by eight shots over Duke.
Alabama's Stephanie Meadows claimed medalist honors for the event after finishing with a 72, giving her a 3-under 213 total.
Sophomore Julie Yang led the OSU starting five, tying for 13th place at 223 after closing with a 72.
Senior Jayde Panos tied for 22nd at 227 after posting a 73.
Freshman Isabella Deilert's second consecutive 78 tied her for 38th place at 230, while senior Lauren Falley tied for 52nd place at 233 after signing for a 76 during her third round.
Senior Amy Ruengmateekhun finished 90th at 253 after closing with an 86.
The Cowgirls will resume tournament play on Feb. 9 when they travel to Palos Verdes, Calif., to compete at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.
