Cowgirls Tied For Seventh At Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted its second consecutive 307 during the second round of action on Saturday at the Landfall Tradition to move into a tie for seventh place at the Country Club of Landfall.
The Cowgirls' 38-over total of 614 tied them with Virginia for seventh place and has them five shots behind Wake Forest for sixth place. Alabama finished the day as the only squad under par at 1-under 575 to hold an eight-shot cushion at the par-72, 6,244-yard layout.
Alabama's Stephanie Meadow continued to lead the individual race, posting a 71 to stand at 3-under 141 and two shots clear of the field.
Sophomore Julie Yang finished the day tied for 21st place at 151 after carding a 76 during her second round.
Freshman Isabella Deilert followed an opening 74 with a 78 to stand at 152 and tied for 25th place.
Senior Jayde Panos shaved four strokes off her opening 79 with a 75 to come in tied for 33rd place at 154, while classmate Lauren Falley posted a 78 for a 157 total, tying her for 52nd place.
Senior Amy Ruengmateekhun's 78 gave her a 167 total and tied her for 84th place.
The Cowgirls will begin their final round tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Virginia and Michigan State.
