WILMINGTON, N.C. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team will close out its fall slate this weekend when it begins play at the Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Landfall.
The third-ranked Cowgirls have not finished outside the top three in any of their three starts thus far, placing third at the Dale McNamara Invitational and finishing as the runner-up at the Windy City Invitational. The Cowgirls logged their first victory of the year earlier this month at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman.
The 18-team field will begin play on Friday with 18 holes being contested each day through Sunday. The Cowgirls won the weather-shortened event last year, posting a 292 first-round score to come in a shot clear of Duke.
OSU's starting five for this year's event will consist of seniors Lauren Falley, Jayde Panos and Amy Ruengmateekhun as well as sophomore Julie Yang and freshman Isabella Deilert. Yang enters the event as the third-ranked player in the country after posting runner-up finishes in each of her two starts this fall.
The Cowgirls will get their first round underway on Friday at 10:09 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Duke and Notre Dame.
Live scoring for the event will be available at golfstat.com.
