Cowboy Tennis Lands Blue-Chip Recruit

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's first-year head tennis coach, Jay Udwadia, added one of the top recruits in the nation on Thursday, as Richard Del Nunzio signed to join the Cowboys for this upcoming tennis season.

"We are pleased to have Richard join the Cowboy family," coach Udwadia said. "He is going to make a great addition to our program."

Del Nunzio is ranked No. 13 nationally according to tennisrecruting.net, and has competed against the top recruits in the nation with great success compiling an impressive overall record of 46-17. The recruiting service also lists him as a blue-chip recruit.

Coach Udwadia believes he will fit perfectly into the new mold for the OSU Men's Tennis program.

"He has the mindset and work ethic to develop into a great player," coach Udwadia said.
