Kelsey Vines Set For NCAA Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Oklahoma State's Kelsey Vines will begin play at the NCAA Championship on Tuesday morning at Vanderbilt's Legends Golf Club.
Vines was one of two players from the NCAA East Regional and six players overall to qualify individually. The OSU junior will begin her first round tomorrow morning at 8:25 a.m. (CST) on the No. 1 tee and will be grouped with Florida State's Maria Salinas and Texas Tech's Kim Kaufman.
The 72-hole event will run through Friday with 18 holes being played each day at the par-72, 6,377-yard layout.
The 2012 Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Year, Vines is coming off a seventh-place finish at the NCAA East Regional. Her showing marked her seventh top 10 in 11 starts this season. The St. George, Utah native has a pair of victories to her credit this season and is currently ranked No. 25 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Ranking.
