Cowboy Tennis With Five Named Academic All-Big 12

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team had five players named to the Academic All-Big 12 Tennis Team, the conference announced today.
OSU's four first-team selections is the most among the men's teams, and its five overall selections is tied with Texas Tech for most in the conference.
Senior Vlad Bondarenko and junior Trevor Horstmann highlighted the group, as both earned first-team honors with 4.0 GPA's. Bondarenko, majoring in international studies, and Horstmann, majoring in accounting, were the only players on the men's side with perfect GPA's.
Joining them on the first team were senior Eric West, majoring in economics, and sophomore Brandon Champagne, majoring in management.
Sophmore Rifat Biktyakov, who is majoring in Russian language and literature, earned second-team honors.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
