Biktyakov Opens Play at Austin Hill Country Classic

AUSTIN, Texas - Oklahoma State's Rifat Biktyakov will represent Uzbekistan at this week's Austin Hill Country Classic in Austin, Texas.
Biktyakov, the fifth overall seed of the tournament, will begin his run in the tournament's qualifying round Sunday. He will face off against Sean Karl of the United States in the second round after earning a first-round bye.
Biktyakov, the only Cowboy in the tournament, is coming off a 1-1 performance at last week's ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa.
Should Biktyakov win his match, he will play for a qualifier spot in the tournament's Main Draw.
