Cowboy Netters Wrap Up Opening Tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Oklahoma State men's tennis team wrapped up its first tournament of the fall Sunday as the Cowboys split six matches with Wichita State.

Vlad Bondarenko and Rifat Biktyakov highlighted the day for the Cowboys as they each won their singles matches and teamed for OSU's win in doubles competition.

Christopher Haworth and Trevor Horstman were also in action, but each droppped their singles matches and teamed for a loss in doubles play.

The loss marked Haworth's first singles loss as he finished the tournament with a 3-1 singles record. Bondarenko also finished 3-1 while Biktyakov was 4-0.

Oklahoma State returns to action Oct. 1 for the ITA All-American Tournament.
