Caroline Hedwall Earns Second LET Win

HELSINKI, Finland - Former Oklahoma State standout Caroline Hedwall earned her second Ladies European Tour victory of the year on Saturday, securing the title at the Finnair Masters at Helsinki Golf Club.

Hedwall, who is in her rookie season after wining the NCAA individual title for OSU in 2010, fired a 3-under 68 to close and finish with a 54-hole total of 11-under 202. Her score was good for a two-shot victory over Christel Boeljon of Holland.

After opening with a 69 during her first round, Hedwall vaulted to the top of the leaderboard with a 65 during her second round.

The win was Hedwall's second in five weeks after winning the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open at the end of May.

With her win in Finland, Hedwall moved into third place on the LET's Henderson Money List with 134,972 Euros in 11 events. Additionally, she is now ninth in the European Solheim Cup rankings with all of her points being earned in her last four tournament starts.
