OSU Wraps Up Meets in Arkansas and New Mexico

The Oklahoma State track and field program entered a pair of meets Saturday as the Cowboys and Cowgirls competed at the Razorback Spring Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Tailwind Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.
OSU's performance at the University of Arkansas was highlighted by Tom Farrell's first-place finish in the men's 1,500 meters. His time of 3:45.88 placed him just in front of teammate Johnathan Stublaski, who crossed the line about three seconds later to give the Cowboys the top two finishers in the event.
The top Cowgirl performers at the event were Brandi Andrews, who finished sixth in the 800 meters, and Jacqueline Campos, who placed sixth in the 3,000 meters.
Four Cowgirls competed at the Great Friends of UNM Track Stadium in Albuquerque. Caitlin Way had the best finish of the day with her first place mark of 50.72 meters in women's hammer throw, while Clarissa Andrews and Brooke Gritters placed second in the triple jump and discus throw, respectively.
OSU track and field resumes action this week at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas.
